Welcome to DEE of Trongate

Togging out generations of Mods, Rockers, Rockabillies, Skinheads, Soul Boys, Scooterists, and Rude Boys, we’ve been single-handedly clothing the city’s style tribes for over 60 years. From Merc of London to Dr. Martens; Gabicci, Relco, Real Hoxton and Trojan. If you can name it, we stock it.

WHO WE ARE

History

Born from a love of fashion and music, Dees opened in the early 1950's and went on to have five shops across Glasgow and the surrounding area. Our flagship Trongate shop was opened in 1963 and is still true to its roots. Even to this day we have one thing in mind - to bring the best fashions of the era to the masses. Gone are the days of expensive attire, our aim is to unite all subcultures of this wonderful era with affordable items and iconic brands.

Whilst our roots are firmly in Glasgow, our Dees family is located across the globe with some of our customers literally crossing oceans to get to us. As time has moved on, so has Dees. Therefore, we now have this online store for those of you across the globe.

Dee Vision

What started as a high-end culture of Italian tapered suits and Carnaby Street fashions, Mod fashion then splintered into separate subcultures - most notably the Hard Mods or Skinheads in the ’60s. Since then the style and culture have evolved and changed with many offshoots appearing over the years. Dee of Trongate is here to celebrate it all.
